With AF-C and Eye AF active, the camera continuously tracks the subject's eyes even when you press the shutter halfway. In AF-S mode with Eye AF, focus locks when you press halfway, so if the subject moves afterward, the focus won't adjust. To avoid this, consider using AF-C or continuous AF for shooting.

How to remove the eyecup?

The Fujifilm X-H2S eyecup is unlocked by pinching both ends, making them easier to pull out.

For earlier models, hold the camera body firmly and slide your fingers upward on both sides of the eyecup to remove it. If it does not come off, slide it alternately left and right.
